- • Chair: Misan Sunim
- Sunim was ordained as a monk at the Baekgang Temple. He studied at various places such as Korea, Sri Lanka and India and received Phd. in oriental philosophy at Oxford College. Since returning to Korea, he has resided at Sangdo Seonwon in Seoul as its head. He is currently the director of Meditation Science Research Center at KAIST. Sunim attaches great attention to practicing Buddha's teachings in daily lives. As part of his efforts to help people reduce stress from daily lives, Sunim has introduced a loving-kindness meditation- Heart Smile Meditation -for general public to practice.
- • Professor Kim Jae-sung
- Professor Kim majored in philosophy at the undergraduate and graduate schools of Seoul National University and studied Buddhism in India and South Asia at Tokyo University. His main area of interest is the study of practice of the original Buddhism and by early Buddhist Schools. Since he learned practice of South Asian tradition in Myanmar in1991, he has continued practice of Vipassana. He is currently teaching at Nungin Graduate School.
- • Professor Baek Do-su
- Professor Baek studied Buddhism at Dong Kuk University, and received MA. in Indian Studies at Fribourg University. He received Ph.D in Indian philosophy and Buddhism at his alma mater in 2001. He is currently teaching at Nungin Graduate School.
- • Professor Yang Hyung-jin
- Professor Yang went to the undergraduate and graduate schools of Physics at Seoul National University and received Ph.D at Indiana University. He is currently teaching at Korea University. His main area of interest is quantum coding and communication.

- • Professor Im Sung-taek
- He received his Ph.D for his dissertation on<study of Patisambhidamagga's view on practice>, and is currently teaching indian philosophy including Buddhism at Kyungpook National University.
- • Professor Hong Chang-sung
- Professor Hong graduated from the undergraduate and graduate schools of Seoul National University and received his Ph.D in Philosophy at Brown University. He is currently teaching at Minnesota State University.
